Economic Breakfast Series

It's a well-known business axiom that networking is key to success. Sometimes, it really is who you know, not just what you know - or what your business offers.

Working from that idea, the first Southwest Detroit "Desayunos Economicos," a business-networking event, took place in 2009 at the local National City Bank. Some 20 people attended the event, and networked with other business owners, health service providers, financial advisors, small business consultants and city officials.

The Economic Breakfasts Series is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet, exchange ideas and support each other. By attending these events, business owners can connect with other local business owners to promote their businesses and services, and benefit from the products and services provided by other members.

National City Bank, now a part of PNC, sponsors the 2009 Series which is presented by the SDBA and hosted by local business owners. The events are free of charge.
