Thursday, July 21: Southwest Detroit Visions and Voices Opening Reception - Artist Vito Valdez, SDBA staff, and community members come together to launch the Southwest Detroit Visions and Voices exhibit. October 30, 2010: The inaugural Run of the Dead- A Race through Southwest Detroit begins at 9AM. Over 500 Runners participated!
November 1-2, 2010: Day of the Dead Ofrenda Tours. Geared for students of all ages, the Annual tour of Ofrendas immerses audiences in the Mexican culture. Tours and workshops available, by appointment only. Friday, December 3rd, 2010: A reception to welcome artists Lisa Luevanos and Erik Howard's exhibit to the SDBA Atrium at 5:30 pm. Light refreshments and music will be provided. The exhibit will be on display until March 4, 2011.
