Day of the Dead Celebration Nov 2nd-Nov 4th, 2008 This year’s Annual Day of the Dead festivities will be held from Sunday, November 2nd- Tuesday, November 4th. On Sunday, visitors will experience a self-guided walking tour of the Offrendas (altar pieces), in addition to the sounds of authentic Mexican music. Don’t forget the kids! Children’s activities will engage your kids and make this a most enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Discounts on food and drink in Southwest Detroit’s finest restaurants will occur throughout the event days. Guided bus tours will be available on Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday November 4th between 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. by reservation only. Make your reservation now!.
